Presentation Appart'Etud STRASBOURG MEINAU
Description of the residence
Do you dream of heading out of class straight to a Christmas market for a nice mulled wine with homemade gingerbread? Well, your dream is about to come true! You got the answer you've been waiting for and you're off to study in Strasbourg! Now all you have to do is find a stylish flat within your price range (or your parents') to complete the plan. Great news! There's no need to go through the classifieds, we have THE best place, it's the Nemea Appart'Etud Strasbourg Meinau residence. Located right next to the tramway, the residence offers fully equipped, cosy and well-decorated flats. With the added bonus of a great atmosphere.
Time to say goodbye to Mum and Dad, it’s time for independence and you're doing it in Strasbourg. You're thrilled, but don't really fancy sitting around in a tiny studio in the middle of nowhere? With the Strasbourg Meinau student residence that won’t be the case. The 135 units offered for rent are proper flats with a minimum surface area of 19 m². Phew! You won't be bashing your legs on the furniture every 5 minutes as you try to move around it. And there's no need to rob your parents and take all the appliances with you (drop that toaster)! Ultra-practical and perfectly arranged, all our flats are fully equipped. Is a communal kitchen full of unhygienic pots and pans your worst nightmare? Great news! You have a kitchenette just for you with an integrated ceramic hob. Are you a ready meal addict? Don't worry, there’s a microwave too. Desks, wall shelves, a wardrobe: there’s no excuse for leaving your stuff all over the floor. Need alone time first thing in the morning? Well, queuing with your towel under your arm to take a shower is out of the question. Lucky for you you can roll out of bed and straight to your bathroom (too bad no one will get to see your bed hair). Having a guest for the night? In two seconds, your trundle bed becomes a double bed.
Another advantage of living in a residence? Like a friendly neighbour, it can provide you with many services: a hoover, iron (perfect for your future internship interview), laundrette, or even a fresh food basket. Your parents have just called to say they’re on their way for a surprise visit? Send an SOS to the cleaning service. Accommodation is provided so they don’t need to stay in your room The scoop of the day? Studying isn’t a prison. So between revision sessions, remember to relax. If you want to let off steam to music, head for the gym (the trainer will quickly become your BFF). Open your chakras on the yoga mat or watch your favourite series on the couch (here you’ve got Netflix on demand), in short, relax!

The advantages of Nemea Appart'Etud
Flammekueche, spätzles, baeckeoffe? No idea what those are? They’ll soon become part of your vocabulary. Studying in Strasbourg means making the most of a student city that’s both pretty and lively, where you can eat well (so well that you may need to up your fitness regime), and enjoy the multicultural ambience, just a stone's throw from Germany (a short bike ride and you're there). You’ll love living in Strasbourg...just like the 63,000 other students.
Your student residence in Strasbourg
Do you have an eco streak? Strasbourg will delight. Here, cycling rules and many Strasbourg residents opt for the tram or bus. The Strasbourg Meinau residence is located 200 m from the first tram stop. There are several lines that reach all campuses, universities and schools in the city within 20 minutes: IUT Robert Schumann, Faculté de Pharmacie, Lycée Hôtelier, Université de Strasbourg, EM Strasbourg. Are you enrolled at CCI de Formation or Lycée Couffignal? You don't even need to take the tram, it's just a 5-minute walk. Ultra-practical: the residence is close to many shops. Is your fridge desperately empty? Go! The supermarket is 500 m away and the large shopping centre is a 10-minute tram ride away. Is a hot croissant in the morning sacred? A bakery is just 50 m away.
Strasbourg's student parties await! Now’s the time to show off your legendary booty shake. In one tram ride, you’re where it all happens! The atmosphere is guaranteed in the on-trend bars and restaurants in the Krutenau district, Les Halles or Place Kléber. Before hitting the dance floor until the early hours of the morning, have a drink in a traditional ‘Winstub’ to build up your courage (and calories).
Student life in Strasbourg
Are you known as the restless one? Well, in Strasbourg you won't have a second to be bored. As well as being charming with its half-timbered houses and flower-lined canals (your mum will love it), Strasbourg is truly international. There’s a "Spanish inn" atmosphere at every corner. You’ll quickly make lots of friends from all over the world who've come to study in this European capital. All year round, there’s a succession of events: Strasbourg Racing for football fans, the European Fair, the Music Festival and of course the Christmas Market from the end of November. Gingerbread and mulled wine is literally the best remedy for the winter blues. So here’s the deal, in Strasbourg, you eat well, drink well (in moderation) and study well, you've made the right choice!
