3 must-see events for students in Grenoble

Where to go out in Grenoble? What are the main events in Isère, particularly ones near the university?

  1. Nuit des Assos takes place around mid-September on the Saint-Martin-d'Hères university campus. It brings together students interested in community life, from setting up an association to putting together a project and applying for funding. These range from cultural associations to humanitarian, sporting, civic and festive organisations. All fields are covered. It's up to you to create the association that suits you! The first part of the evening is devoted to the associations' forum and the second to concerts and other entertainment.
  2. La Nuit de L'Orientation is organised by the Grenoble Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It takes place at the end of November on the Saint-Martin-d'Hères campus, in the Pierre Mendès France building. Students have access to a speed networking area, an interest test area, a third area for interviews and lastly a flash coaching area. All the conditions are in place for young people to meet professionals and find out more about the careers that appeal to them, or discover new ones.
  3. FITA: the Festival International de Théâtre Action takes place in November. It's a chance to discover ethical shows that question the world.

There are many other events, including la Biennale Experimenta devoted to the sciences, a Hip Hop festival at Saint-Martin-d'Hères en scène, the Détours de Babel music festival in March, the Arts du Récit festival in May and Regards Croisés, which focuses on theatrical writing.
