The Nemea Appart'Etud Caen Beaumois residence is ready to welcome you for your internship or university course. The 150 fully furnished, perfectly equipped flats in the residence offer the ideal environment for success. Now that being said, studying is clearly the number one factor for your success, but a great environment helps.
The Caen Beaumois residence is made up of studio flats (18 to 19m2), large studio flats (21 to 22m2) and one-bedroom flats (29 to 34m2 ) offering a lovely living environment. You can avoid the hassle of renting a van and cajoling your friends to help you move. Each flat is modern, bright and equipped with functional furniture. Space is optimised and everything has been designed to make your daily life easier. Your table on wheels slides under your desk, you have an extra folding chair for a friend, and your trundle bed can be converted from a single to a double bed in seconds. The rooms are well insulated and there's a kitchenette in each flat: whether you stick to the basics or you're a budding master chef, everything you need is on hand!
Need a break after hours of revision? There are several options available within the residence. A short TV break watching Canal+ or Netflix (provided) on the sofa in the common room, a game of table football with your neighbours or a training session in the gym. Any of these will do you the world of good. Every week, the residence also offers a one-hour fitness or relaxation class. The programme includes yoga, self-defence and strengthening/toning. Get ready to understand the meaning of “No pain, no gain.” The residence also offers the delivery of fresh food baskets containing local products. And yes, there’s more to life than just ready meals!
Revision taking up all your time? Social life under threat? Location
Don't have a car? Just as well, you won’t need it. The Caen Beaumois residence is set in a quiet location, close to the city centre and right by Campus 4 and 5. This means you can get around on foot, by public transport or on a scooter if you like a bit of speed.
The Caen Beaumois student residence
There’s no excuse for being late for class as the residence is located in the heart of the campus. Bus stops for lines 4 and 5 are less than 5 minutes walk from the residence and the Campus 1 tram stop is only 800 metres away. Reach PFRS (Faculty of Medicine), EM Normandie and AIFCC in 10 minutes by bus and Prépa MEDICEAN, IAE, UFR des Sciences Pharmaceutiques and ENSICAEN in 15 minutes by tram.
Local services and shops are also within walking distance: a bank, post office, supermarket and the university restaurant are all within 10 minutes. You can survive for several weeks without having to cook! Need a change of scenery? The swimming pool is only 7 minutes away by tram. If you want to enjoy a night out with friends, there are several bars and restaurants within a 10-minute walk of the residence.

Caen is a city where there’s never a dull moment: the 35,000 students who live there will agree! A friendly-sized city, Caen is full of places where you can wander around and meet up with friends. In between courses or at weekends, take the time to stroll through the historic city centre and discover all the cultural wonders of this city.
